Welcome to Pines Connect, a software-as-a-service platform that helps businesses measure, manage, and reduce their carbon emissions. By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise using the Pines Connect platform (the “Service”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

1. Definitions

“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to Pines Connect.

“User,” “you,” or “your” refers to the individual or organization that creates an account, subscribes to, or uses the Service.

“Service” means the Pines Connect software platform, including all features, tools, analytics, reports, APIs, integrations, and related services provided by the Company.

2. Account registration

To access the Service, you must create an account with accurate, complete, and up-to-date information.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

Accounts may not be shared between multiple individuals unless permitted by your subscription plan.

3. Subscription, fees, and payment

Access to the Service requires a valid subscription and timely payment of all applicable fees.

Pricing, payment terms, and renewal policies will be communicated at the time of subscription and may be updated from time to time.

All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in our refund policy.

Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

4. Use of service and conduct

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms.

You may not misuse the Service, including by attempting to access unauthorized data, reverse-engineering the platform, or interfering with system performance.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you input into the Service.

All software, content, branding, and materials within the Service remain the exclusive property of Pines Connect or its licensors.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service during your subscription term.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without prior written permission.

6. Data and confidentiality

We respect the confidentiality of the data you provide. Pines Connect will use your data only to deliver the Service, improve functionality, and as described in our Privacy Policy.

You retain ownership of the data you input. By using the Service, you grant Pines Connect a limited license to process and analyze your data for the purpose of providing the Service.

We will not share your confidential business data with third parties except as required by law or with your consent.

7. Service availability and changes

While we strive to provide uninterrupted Service, we do not guarantee that the platform will always be available or free from errors.

We may update, enhance, or discontinue features of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

8. Limitation of liability

Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

Pines Connect is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability under these Terms is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay fees, or misuse the Service.

You may cancel your subscription at any time, subject to the cancellation terms in your subscription plan.

10. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Georgia, and any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
